Upland makes ECM Magic Quadrant debut with its FileBound document and workflow automation application
AUSTIN, Texas (October 2, 2014) – Upland Software, Inc., a leader in cloud-based Enterprise Work Management applications, today announced that it has been positioned on the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management (ECM)1 for its FileBound document and workflow automation application.

Though this is Upland’s first appearance on the ECM Magic Quadrant, Upland products have been evaluated in previous reports, including the Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Based IT Project and Portfolio Management Services2 and Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis Applications3. Upland’s Tenrox and ComSci have been listed as a representative vendors in the Market Guide for PPM for Professional Services4 and the Market Guide for IT Financial Management Tools (ITFM)5, respectively. Upland’s PowerSteering was recently listed as a representative vendor in Gartner’s Market Guide for New Product Development Project and Portfolio Management.6
To appear in this Magic Quadrant, vendors had to meet Gartner’s criteria for revenue, geographic presence, functional capabilities and “referenceability.”
