I\u2019m the Office Manager for our Laval branch. I have a wide range of responsibilities in my current position, mainly maintaining the daily functioning and administrative services and operations of the office, planning and managing the office budget, organizing staff events, ensuring that we are in compliance with organizational objectives and policies, maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers and working closely with our AP team.\u00a0 This is in addition to general administrative tasks to ensure that everything runs smoothly at the office.\u00a0 I also work with the PITM Marketing team mainly on the operations side.<\/p>\n
I have been with Upland for close to 11 years.<\/p>\n
I started as a \u2018Customer Care Rep\u2019 at PSA in 2008 and was in that position until 2011. \u00a0I worked very closely with the PSA customers to ensure that an excellent relationship was established between them and our support and professional services teams. In 2011 I took a year off for my maternity leave and returned in 2012 as the Upland Laval Office Manager along with being the PSA AR Representative. For the past year I have been part of the Marketing team, mainly on the operations side as well as continuing to manage the Laval office.<\/p>\n
There are ups and downs in every relationship and it\u2019s the same in our relationship with our customers! But the fact is that our customers\u2019 satisfaction remains our top priority.<\/p>\n
The main project I am currently working is the PITM Leadership Summit Meeting which will take place at the Laval office in July 2019.\u00a0 We will have about 30 of our team members from the US, UK and Canada attending the meetings and I am coordinating and organizing the logistics of the event.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t have any pets right now but would love to have a dog one day.<\/p>\n
I love spending time outdoors with my kids when the Montreal weather permits!\u00a0 I also enjoy reading and cooking.\u00a0 Lately I have started running and participating in some races which is something I enjoy tremendously.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t watch much TV!\u00a0 I do read a lot of books so it\u2019s hard to choose just one.\u00a0 Some of my all-time favorites are: \u2018Cry, The Beloved Country\u2019, \u2018The Alchemist\u2019, and \u2018The Architect\u2019s Apprentice\u2019. \u00a0\u00a0I enjoy books about life experiences; survival, pain, love, religion and the strength of the human spirit.<\/p>\n
I enjoy all aspects of my work but the best part is interacting with staff members on a daily basis and seeing them appreciate the work that I do. On the Marketing operations side, I enjoy interacting with customers as this gives me an opportunity to serve them better and to maintain long term relationships which reflect Upland\u2019s commitment to its clients.\u00a0 It is always wonderful to get an email or card from a customer and realizing that I have known this person for over 10 years!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
