New Kapost Calendar for Eloqua

In conjunction with Eloqua, Kapost has recently introduced a free calendar application for Eloqua users. If you’re having trouble organizing your campaigns and planning your marketing initiatives, a calendar is a simple, but must-have tool in your toolbox. The application will display all Eloqua emails on a calendar inside your Eloqua instance.

How Does It Work:

The Kapost Calendar App is the first editorial calendar available in a marketing automation tool. A calendar was the most requested feature by Eloqua users, sparking the collaboration between Eloqua and Kapost.

By downloading the App from the Eloqua App Cloud, you will be able to access a visual view of your active and scheduled Eloqua emails and campaigns. Instead of wondering whether an email went out on the right day, or trying to calculate when the third email in a new nurture campaign will be delivered for the first time, the Kapost Calendar App clearly displays the timing of your Eloqua initiatives.

The Calendar App has two views: the Content View and the Campaign View. In the Content View of the Calendar, you can see either a monthly, weekly, or daily view of each scheduled or sent email. Emails are also color-coded by campaign, so you’ll be able to avoid overlapping content and see the status of specific emails within those campaigns. You can also enter Campaign View, which shows all active or scheduled campaigns by quarter (Q1 – Q4) and month (January – December).

With the installation of the Kapost Calendar App, users will be able to:

  • Understand which emails and campaigns are live, or when they are first scheduled to begin
  • Eliminate labor intensive spreadsheets
  • Better manage content producers
  • Visualize reaching tangible email and campaign production targets
  • Plan campaigns based on dates and wider marketing initiatives
  • Make sure campaigns based on seasons or specific dates, for example, holiday newsletters or conference follow up, are on time and on task
