Announcing Upland LeadLander’s API Access and Zapier Integration

Things are getting zappy around here.

We’re always looking for ways to extend Upland LeadLander’s capabilities and make prospecting and marketing easier for our customers. That’s why we’re excited to announce the release of the latest version of LeadLander that will have full API functionality and a new integration partnership with Zapier.

Beginning July 11, new API access to LeadLander visitor information and Zapier integration features will be available. This means customers will have API functionality within LeadLander and can use Zapier to connect LeadLander with hundreds of other business software applications. Depending on the tools your business uses, that could mean lots of things. It has never been easier to use LeadLander with the tools you and your team already know and love.

What the LeadLander API means for users

With new API capabilities, LeadLander customers will be able to take customization to the next level. Functionality like the ability to pull information from LeadLander to populate custom sales dashboards will allow users to personalize what they see when they login to the platform based on their own needs. Other features like custom reporting and bulk visit information retrieval for custom visit data analysis will allow users to better evaluate data and respond for optimized prospecting and marketing results.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a tool that allows you to easily bridge the gap between apps in a matter of minutes, all without writing a single line of code. With a few simple steps in Zapier, users can quickly integrate their favorite tools for automated processes. With over 1,000 apps already available and new apps added every week, Zapier is a powerful one-stop resource for connecting your favorite tools.

What Zapier means for LeadLander users

The Zapier integration means LeadLander users will be able to push data based on triggered actions from their website over to other applications such as their CRM system. Wouldn’t it be great if your CRM automatically stored information on new company visits? What if sales could receive instant email alerts when a specific page was visited on your website? These capabilities and more are possible through our integration with Zapier.

Workflows called Zaps pass information between applications. In LeadLander Zaps can be triggered by specific website actions such as:

  • New company visits
  • Repeat company visits
  • New individual visits
  • Repeat individual visits
  • Form fills and submissions
  • Specific number of page views
  • Specific page views

There are many types of Zaps that can be set up through triggered actions in LeadLander. One of our favorite actions performed though Zaps is putting out a notification in a Slack channel when a company visits a specific page on a website, but that’s just an example. Each user has their own tool stack and specific needs, so it’s all about the flexibility to do what’s best for you, your team, and your business. There’s no limit to what you can do!
