Priorities of Today’s CIOs

Compensation and customers are top of mind for today’s leading CIOs. According to CIO.com’s 13th annual State of the CIO survey, 61% of CIOs have part of their compensation tied to a specific corporate revenue or profit goal. In the past, only CEOs and CFOs were burdened with a list of corporate financial targets. Now more than ever, CIOs are held accountable to corporate financial goals beyond just managing expenses, such as revenue growth, profitability and Earnings Per Share (EPS).
