Application update delivers critical customer-driven enhancements and deepens connections between Upland’s PSA and PPM solutions.
AUSTIN, Texas, June 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Upland Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: UPLD), a leader in cloud-based Enterprise Work Management software, today announced the latest release of their PSA Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution. The release focuses on user-driven feature updates to the Resource Management module—the core component of the application—to help professional services organizations more effectively manage their dispersed workforce. Key user experience enhancements are part of Upland’s UX/UI standardization initiative to drive cross-product synchronicity, particularly between PSA and PowerSteering PPM, as announced in a release earlier this month.

“We have worked closely with the PSA team at Upland to make key updates to the Resource Management module,” said Terry Buckle, Head of Portfolio and Programme Management at OpenBet. “Upland listened to our inputs and added new features that make the Resource Management module more user-friendly and intuitive to all. This release allows us to embark on a very important product consolidation to bring our business resource management into PSA.”

Key enhancements to PSA within this release include the following:

  • Improved user experience through a revamped user interface within the Resource Management module.
  • Streamlined integration between the Resource Management module and the Project Planner and PowerSteering PPM.
  • Improved user efficiency though updates to the Expense module.
  • Enhanced sign-on and configuration process for the PSA mobile application.
  • Upgraded stability and reliability through platform improvements and bug fixes.

“The Resource Management Module is a critical component of our PSA solution, and we are committed to making steady improvements to increase value for dynamic professional services organizations,” said Kevin Sequeira, Vice President of Product Management at Upland Software. “As lines continue to blur between managing people and projects, having a robust, modular PSA is a critical customer need. The ability to easily manage, analyze, and connect resource data in their PSA with a top-tier PPM application like PowerSteering is becoming a necessity.”
