It was with great pleasure that PSA partnered with TSIA (Technology Services Industry Association) once again and attended the Technology Services World (TSW) 2016 conference in Las Vegas at the end of October. We were delighted to meet many of our customers and prospects with whom we shared our latest release, PSA 2016 R1. After 20 years of experience and through close partnerships with our customers, our aim was to build an open, scalable PSA platform with powerful integration capabilities that we were able to demonstrate at the show.

Highlights from TSW at the PSA by Upland booth:

We met with many of our customers at the show and it was great to hear about their success using our solution, and their contagious desire to speak about the benefits of PSA.

It was fascinating to meet folks with different backgrounds: not just from professional services firms, but also from support and field services who all benefit from aligning for growth and outcomes.

It was also great presenting what makes PSA stand out from other professional services automation applications, such as:

  • There are many levels of maturity even within a strong organization like TSIA. We have had riveting discussions with organizations that sometimes felt overwhelmed by the success stories of their peers. In our 20 years experience, we have seen customers start small and grow from start-ups to global organizations.
  • Commitment to platform agnosticism; many organizations have invested in platforms such as CRMs and ERPs, and a best-of-breed PSA is a great way to leverage these investments instead of starting from scratch. In particular, attendees showed a lot of interest in our 360 degree view of the professional services delivery.

We also noticed that, as technology becomes a unique selling point even to the most traditional industries such as automotive and manufacturing, there are more and more points in common between service organizations globally. This allows us to leverage our years of expertise to provide solutions to customers across all verticals.

This wasn’t the first time PSA had partnered up with TSIA. In fact, we collaborated on a interesting webinar earlier this year called, PSA Crystal Ball: 3 Ways to Predict the Success of Your Service Organization which focused on improving forecasting and project health within professional services organizations.
