Today, Kapost announced that Alex Shootman, President of Worldwide Field Operations for Apptio and past President of marketing automation provider Eloqua, has agreed to join Kapost’s Board of Directors. Shootman brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience growing revenue and profit for technology companies.

Shootman is a recognized leader in enterprise marketing SaaS. At Apptio, a leading provider of technology business management, he leads the company’s global sales and services functions. Shootman previously served in the roles of President and Chief Revenue Officer at Eloqua, where he grew its global sales footprint, helped lead it to a successful public offering and then an acquisition by Oracle Corp. He held the role of Senior Vice President of Eloqua Global Sales Unit inside Oracle.
