Supply Chain Brief, an aggregate website for supply chain content officially launched today, Thursday, August 14. The website is a combined effort with The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Society and The Logistics of Logistics blog. The creators have started a supply chain community to encourage sharing of best practices as well as provide a forum for thought leadership.

In addition to Ultriva content, the website will feature content from a wide variety of sources such as George Muha (Supply Chain Strategist), Alex Fuller (Supply Chain Cowboy Blog), Joe Lynch (The Logistics of Logistics blog) and many others.

The Supply Chain Brief site is located at: http://www.supplychainbrief.com/

About the Sponsors:
The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Society is a professional body for Logistics practitioners who promote professional development of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and works to raise the profile and expertise through a range of activities.

The Logistics of Logistics is a blog written by Joe Lynch, a logistics provider based in Brighton, Michigan, and has a goal to demystify and explain logistics. Lynch shares on his blog ideas and processes used by his team to save money for clients over the past three years.

“I’ve always believed that the best way to get things done is to get the smart people involved, brainstorm some game-changing ideas and then execute,” said Lynch. Lynch is applying this same philosophy to the Supply Chain Brief website, connecting people and ideas.

About the Site:
The aggregated content on this topic-specific site comes from a number of interesting and relevant sources:  blogs, white papers, peer recommendations, social networks, and discussion groups to name a few.

That content is auto-curated by the readers based on their social media activity, so that the best rises to the top.  Personalized newsletter versions of each content community can be requested to deliver a customized version for each and every reader.
