By using email, they encouraged their audience to participate in the quiz and get excited about the store’s seasonal donuts.

Aberdeen American, with an insurance sponsor, brought in almost 500 entries who hoped to win $25 Chamber Bucks in this “What Kind of Halloween Candy Are You?” quiz. Having a prize brought them entries, as well as over 100 opt-ins for the paper. Aberdeen American used their email and Facebook to encourage people to participate and win the simple prize. Plus, since this was customized from a ready-to-run turnkey, this quiz was put together in no time.
